Nicholson Wood Products & Services was founded by Steve Nicholson in 1990, with a single mission: to provide high-quality firewood to local homeowners. What started as a small-scale operation quickly grew, thanks to our dedication to reliability and customer satisfaction.

In 1999, we expanded our operations by adding a Blockbuster firewood processor, enabling us to meet the increasing demand from our customers. By the early 2000s, our reputation had reached metro area restaurants, and we began supplying them with cooking wood, broadening our service offerings.

Our commitment to sustainability took a significant step forward in 2008 when we began producing landscape mulch. This move allowed us to achieve our goal of becoming a zero-waste business, recycling all wood byproducts into eco-friendly mulch for local homeowners and businesses.

In 2016, we further diversified by offering tree trimming and removal services. This expansion dovetailed perfectly with our existing operations, allowing us to recycle all tree debris into mulch or firewood, continuing our tradition of sustainable practices.
